Issues of Culture in the U.S.A Elementary Public School Curriculum

Abstract—The article reviews culture in the U.S.A public school curriculum. we mainly discuss the role of religion in elementary education. We draw out some implications: given our frameworks, given the major issues, given the different points of view, when and how should the curriculum or particular courses incorporate the study of religion. We also present the cultural studies approach to teaching religion.
