Special Issue Information

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) convergence evolved from the emergence of cutting-edge technologies and the continuously decreasing distance between applied science and technology development. The convergence of technologies has prompted the evolution of ICT-based systems and services that have tremendously changed our living ways in today’s society. The innovative technologies and services brought by such convergence ultimately improve the welfare of the society as diverse complications and challenges can be addressed as we move forward to a more pervasive environment.

The special issue on “ICT Convergence: Opportunities for Innovative Learning Environments” is focused on the various challenges, opportunities, and perspectives on the convergence of ICT towards redesigning the learning environment. This special issue can be an avenue for educators, distinguished researchers, engineers, scientists, and industry practitioners to share related ideas, discuss their recent works, introduce innovative approaches and methods, and address the challenges and opportunities pertaining to the convergence of ICT into methodological innovations in educational systems.

Manuscript Submission Information
Authors should be submitted via the online submission system. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to guest editors for perusal first.
 
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a blind peer-review process. The Publication Fee in IJIET is 450 USD. Each paid publication fee is entitled to one published paper and online publication on the journal website. There are no charges for rejected articles.
